  1. I cook ground beef and white rice when I wake up in the morning, bring it with me to the gym and eat it immediately after finishing my last set in the gym.

  2. when i Learned from being Ace certified was during workouts you use up stored glycogen and in that window after your workout your body wants to replenish that glycogen. so eating glucose sugars/carbs and not protein to replenish the glycogen you used during your workout.
